President's Message: March, 2008

Looking to the anticipated pleasant spring weather, we can all expect to find ourselves on the road a little bit more (gas prices permitting!). I encourage all of our members, as safety professionals, to set an example to our friends and families by our behaviors and by spreading the word to use caution while driving.

This time of year also brings out more road work and work crews to our highways. Please be patient and respectful of their work sites. Additionally, pay attention to new rules governing cell phone use while driving.

Finally, with only a few meetings left in our ASSE program year, I would like to thank the Philadelphia Chapter Board Members for all of their dedication to the meetings and ASSE happenings. We are excited to tell you we are planning a Philadelphia Chapter ASSE Golf outing in May! More information to come!
