Philadelphia Chapter
American Society of Safety Engineers
President's Message
As
I continue the succession of those honored to lead one of the Society’s
chapters, I find myself in a unique position. I am following the 75th
Anniversary of the Philadelphia Chapter’s founding; celebrating the 100th
Anniversary of the National founding; and the beginning of the next leg in our
Chapter’s advancement. Each individually is an honor.
Each segment of our growth has, in its own way, had to meet the challenges of
moving forward, and in 2011 things are no different.
I want to first thank our immediate Past President, Jim Corrado, for the work he
did to keep us going, as well as all those who worked with him in front of and
behind the scenes. What you did is evident in us reaching this point.
Moving forward, I would like to challenge everyone to become more involved in
further energizing our chapter and expanding what we do. We can only be as
successful as you make it.
I am always open to suggestions, which goes hand-in-hand with wanting
individuals to become active in making ideas work. Please consider becoming more
involved in what we do. Contact me at
akeiss@med-texservices.com to
express your interest in electing to take a step forward with us.
